Reign Media worked with Maddock Films on three major theatrical releases within a single year. Each title required its own creative direction and media plan shaped by the film’s tone, cultural timing and intended audience. Our work ensured that every campaign reached viewers in the right place and at the right time, with messaging that matched the scale and spirit of the story on screen.
For Chhava, a sweeping historical epic, Reign Media focused on scale and prestige in the outdoor environment. Premium billboard locations were secured, including the Manchester Victoria Warehouse screen, one of the largest and most recognisable digital displays in the city. Its continuous visibility to vast numbers of daily commuters and shoppers made it an ideal site to mirror the film’s cinematic ambition. The campaign supported strong awareness throughout the film’s release.
Thamma offered a moment for culturally resonant activation. Released during Diwali, the most widely celebrated South Asian festival in the United Kingdom, the campaign centred on a branded digital van journeying through Leicester’s Belgrave Road, the heart of the city’s Diwali festivities. Operating during peak celebration hours, the van played the film’s trailer when stationary and showcased key artwork and showtimes while moving through the crowds. This created meaningful visibility within an environment of joy, community and shared cultural identity.
For De De Pyaar De 2, a contemporary comedy drama, Reign Media implemented a broad outdoor campaign across major United Kingdom cities, integrating a mix of static and digital billboards. These placements targeted urban audiences known for their enthusiasm for Bollywood cinema, ensuring strong presence during a competitive release period.
